'Gravemind' is a 5-piece Melbourne based Australian heavy metal band signed to the label; Greyscale Records. 

With sound inspired by Northlane, Thy Art is Murder and Veil of Maya; Gravemind's foreboding, deafening sound targets younger metal listeners while carrying through themes of mental health, societal desperation and loss.

Background

The first of numerous interesting and innovative merchandise projects undertaken with Gravemind; Lifelike was an 8 week dash of design and hands-on manufacture.

The release was the band's first ever to debut on vinyl and was an early taste of creative merchandise offerings to come.

Overview

This merchandise package for Melbourne metal group Gravemind was a limited batch of 10 units designed in collaboration to promote and sell their upcoming EP, Lifelike.

The package included a handmade, laser-etched box, one of ten test-pressed vinyls and a typewritten poem on plantable seeded paper.

The package was highly successful; selling all 10 copies within seconds of release.
